How will People React when Sania-Shoaib Play?

Today,15th April 2010 two of the Great sportsperson are getting into the Bondage of Marriage.I want to congratulate them and wish that this would be helpful in making India-Pakistan relations more closer and Meaningful. So,here I go For what may be their future of their Marriage Saga.
Their love match will be like a test match where the couple will be tested on the soil of Pakistan and the marriage will not last more then T20 inning. Already Shoaib like a lose ball was flying from (legal) court to court due to his previous marriage. This time he will not able to captain the batting field and more racket will ensure that maiden over and a innings defeat.
The media, electronic in particular, have missed the wood for the trees in the melodramatic Sania-Shoaib saga. Their focus has been on images of the Indian tennis ace Sania Mirza, the Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik and Shoaib's "first wife", Ayesha, whom he has now divorced.

That brings us to the larger question: Is it all right for the bond of marriage to be reduced to a mere formality of legal dos and don'ts?

That's what made Jemima's celebrated marriage to the Pakistani cricket icon Imran Khan a fiasco. A society afflicted by religious vertigo and blind faith could not tolerate the marriage and the bride felt stifled in an ultraconservative milieu alien to her ethos and liberal values.

How long will the same ultraconservative lot continue to love their new "bhabhi"? What happens when Sania gets into the professional mode on the tennis court in a peek-a-boo top and hot pants?

Most probably, she might have to face not only boos, jeers and catcalls but brickbats too from her "well-wishers" in the land of the faithful. No matter whether she plays on the lawns of London, Dubai or Karachi, the verdict will be the same -- being wanton (the faithful so believe), she is unwanted, hence unwelcome.

Where faith doesn't permit a woman to move in the open without a veil, wouldn't Sania find it a little too hot under the collar when fatwas are pronounced against her for "obscenity"?

The guardians of faith from her "sasural" may declare the tennis star persona non grata in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Jemima Khan nee Goldsmith tied the knot, too, agreeing to Imran Khan's wishful insistence that she settle in the country of her in-laws but the dream soon turned into a nightmare. The "faithful" made her life miserable, forcing her into seclusion and obscurity if not immediately on her arrival but soon after she realised it was next to impossible to breathe freely in that environment.

In the Sania-Shoaib "tie-up" it remains to be seen if the former can skip or sustain societal rigours as and when her short skirt shows up. And, how long will Shoaib bat for Sania on a pitch that behaves quirky?
