Assocham Recent Elections

Swati Piramal, director of Piramal Healthcare, has been elected president of Assocham. She has replaced Sajjan Jindal. She is in the boards of several companies, including Piramal Life Sciences, SBI Capital Markets and Prudential ICICI Management. She has served on the scientific advisory committee of the prime minister also.

After assuming the new charge she has put forward a four point agenda , to look at youth and re-energising youth, to look at earth technologies, to look at health, which is a much neglected sector, and last but not least growth how to get growth across all the sectors.
New Vice President : Dilip Modi (Spice Corp. Ltd)
Vice president : Rajkumar Dhoot ( Videocon Group and a Rajya Sabha member)
